GISEYE Map Projection ActiveX can be used for creation your own software when you need to provide easy-to-use and flexible controls to set up user-defined map projection parameters and to recalculate coordinates from one map projection into another. GISEYE Map Projection ActiveX is an ActiveX component, designed to set up map projection parameters by the user. A wide range of standard projections is supported with the option to set up user-defined projections. Besides the standardized specification of random projection this component includes Cartographic projection library and allows the user to do coordinates conversion from one map projection into another. The functional to preview the parameters of the user-defined projection in standard PROJ4 or WKT Well Known Text) formats has been implemented with the possibility to save projection parameters into an external file. Using this Active X component with a user-friendly GUI enables to considerably reduce the time for software development and to make its interface more user-friendly and more descriptive.
